We have invested heavily over the years in jaw crushers, cone crushers, hammer mills and sieves to meet customers’ requirements for particular size separation of coarse particles.
Material is crushed and fed over double-deck sieves to remove oversize and dust and give a uniform granular product. Colouring can be added at the end of the process if required for identification purposes.
Magnets are used pre- and post-crushing to take out any metal contaminants and drying of feed material can take place pre-crushing as part of the process.
This has been an extremely successful process for over 30 years in supplying extrusion glass to the Seamless Stainless Tube industry, with customers such as Ratnamani and Centravis to name a few. Recently it has also been useful in producing a particular graded glass for non slip flooring. We are constantly reviewing the capabilities of our setup and machinery to give more options and increase capacity.
Screening can also be carried out separately from the crushing or grinding process as a standalone packing service to take out oversized material. Customers can supply their own packaging or we have a close relationship with a packaging company that can source particular packaging if required.
